Curse of the Mad Magi

Evening Edition VOLUME XXVIII January 20th, 2001

Applying the Blinders
by Kaypee Dooty
This is not a warning, it is an observation. The fact that the Tremere of Sacramento have receeded back into their own chantry planning a demise for the Brujah and others...instead of getting to the bottom of Wraith situation that they "assured us" was under control, they sit and squabble internally and depend on the Malkavians to finish their job...all the while their delegation of responsibility exposes their entire clan for the fools they are. And then, Prospero. Derrick "Prospero" Taylor, returns to the scene he so happily left before and see that it is cursed by the "Curse of Cameron".

Losing A Child
by Crazy Jane
Like many others in the Camarilla, I keep track of the events and phenomena in Sacramento. Why? Fore I had sired a vampire. You have heard of Prince Jennings and Archon St. Clair. But have you heard of Jewel? Of me? We are the not so famous or important sires. But we are still your sires. Like mortal parents, we feel pride when our children do great things. We feel shame when they bring such. And when they perish we feel pain as well. Unlike mortal parents, vampires cannot love. We try. But vampires can only take. The closest a vampire can come to love is how they feel about their creation. When I got word of Tyler Duran's destruction, I felt the grief of a mortal parent. When I heard of Allister Holland's demise I understood the pain of his sire. Pain is one of the few emotions an elder vampire can feel. And it does not fade so fast. There are those that watch Sacramento. We are not Sabbat spies. We are proud sires watching our undead garden grow.

Chair Fight
by Pooh Bears
Saturday night in opening court a fight broke out in the Elysium. It was over the seating arrangement between the Nosferatu and the Gangrel. Since there seems to be a lot of Gangrel coming threw the city they felt it was best for them to be place in the back of the Elysium around the rear thrown. This being the Nosferatu's seating, a fight broke out and the chair was shattered. Luckily our acting Prince Father Natasha replaced the seat with no problem bring one up from the sewers. Everything turned out fine except a few complaints about the smell.

Final Action
by Rocky Mountain
War between Brujah and Tremere may happen soon, sources reported today. Several hundred books from the San Francisco chantry are in the hands of a Brujah. The Tremere are sworn to rcover the books at any cost. Is it worth the destruction of an entire clan over a set of books? Misery and Feather are at odds over this issue. Neither side is willing to settle the issue, so final death is the only apparent answer Brujah are willing to try, As for the Warlocks, the would bloodbond all of Brujah if they could. The weeks to come will prove if differences are dealt with brains rather than brawn.

Holed up
by Eyesight
Rumors are spreading about a holed-up of unwanteds here in Sacramento. The rumors state that there is a large group of thin-bloods and lost Sabbat shovel-heads hiding somewhere in Sacramento. This group is alledgedly trying to form a "normal" life, apparently all victims of forced Embrace. Hopefully the Scourges, Brujah Michael Anton and Lasombra antitribu Xavier DeCosta can deal with this problem before breaches break out.

Les B. Inn
One big problem in Sacramento has been our Wraith problem and the Giovanni seem to have a suspect at hand. The suspect maybe a Mr.. Victor Giovanni and his childer, which name is unknown. He and his childer was last seen in Folsom. The Giovanni are giving a reward for any information leading to the capture of this individual.

WereWolF Report
by Some dumb WWF Fan with a Sign
After a stunning breakthrough week, the Crotchsniffers have continued to gain popularity with fans. Hailed as the "every-day Joe's turned wrestlers", the brothers are known already for their flashy moves, "who-gives-a-f*uck" attitudes and for throwing free merchandise to the fans, including passes, t-shirts and hats. Absent from matches on Raw Is War, the pair appeared suddenly on Smackdown. While walking through the arena, Steven Richards and Val Venus were jumped by Benji and Scooby, sporting employee shirts for a company known as "Aries Arms", out of Sacramento. After a brief altrication including a Recoil Buster and an Elephant Press put on Venus and an Aries D smacked on Richards, the brothers were chased off as the remaining three members of Right to Censor appeared on scene. The Brothers were spotted later chatting in the locker room of the Holly's. Crash and Scooby were engaged in an arm-wrestling match, while Benji was being smacked by Molly Holly, to the apparent delight of Benji. I guess he said something she didn't like. Neither brother engaged in any actual matches.

Holland Remembered
by Will B. Mist
A representative of the Holland family came to Opening Court and read Allister Holland's final will. Mr. Holland's monumental strength never failed him in his unlife and his final words were just as powerful. The words of the fallen hero, as they were read, were full of praise and encouragement for his comrades who continue to fight the good fight. And in a touching moment, it was discovered that Mr. Holland had wished to make things right between Tyler Duran, his former adversary, and himself. Who can say what lies beyond this existence for this fallen Nosferatu? But if it is at all possible the indomitable Mr. Holland will make good on his pledge. He was a man of his word after all. And a credit to the proud Holland name.

City Father
by Louis Cypher
No Recoil in sight. Apparently, our beloved Prince was in Ukiah taking care of some business this Gather. Not to worry, the position was adequetly filled by the Seneschal, Father Natasha. Though stressed, the Padre managed to hold the city together.. and even got some things taken care of. Mr. Anton continued doing an impressive job as one of the Scourges. Morgan Powell showed the promise Recoil saw in him this week, performing excellently. Sheriff E-Gad was rather Impressive himself, though he apparently has some experience. Good jobs all around.
