Don't Tread On Me

Evening Edition VOLUME XIV October 14th, 2000

Knights take Pawns
by Kasparov
Following last week's disastrous assault on a Sabbat feeding ground, Xavier and several Nosferatu returned to the Colonial Theater. Though police contamination made tracking difficult, the pack was successfully traced to a nearby boxing studio. Two Sabbat were caught off-guard in a back office and were soundly defeated by the Camarilla force, led by Mister Holland and mouse inhabited by Natasha. With judicious Obfuscation, the Camarilla withdrew from the building before reinforcements arrived. The enemy was brought to Elysium, interrogated, and destroyed.

Vengeful Unity
by Louis Cypher
Two down. Dozens to go. The Sabbat have been found out in their hiding places twice. Now they are short two City Gangrel. The loss of Tyler Duran has only begun to be avenged. It shall be only when the blood of Bishops stains the ground of Sacramento as the Sabbat flee the city. Victory can only be achieved if the Breaches stop and we all work together. The Sabbat have two advantages on us: numbers and unity. We must match them in unity so that our skill will defeat their numbers. We must win this war. The Sabbat take no prisioners.

A Marked Woman
by T. Soprano
Word has leaked that a Camarilla spy within the Sabbat has been identified and captured. The informant, "Rosenberg" is being held in Folsom awaiting the arrival of Sabbat ally, Mister Sleep. Undoubted she will reveal critical secrets, and then be consumed by howling Sabbat.

A Ghoul Rules House Tremere
by T'Jamin Ghoulald
What the hell is this city coming to? In opening court, not a Ventrue to be seen and Caitiff sit in thier place. Sheesh. After watching the tremere over the last week, an astonishing thing has popped up like an overripe zit; a ghoul has been nurse maiding the warlocks. After much pursuasion, Feather and other kindred followed the orders of a pissant ghoul. this one is for the record books.

The Fall of Live Demo?
by M. Bison
Live Demo's video game release of "Fallen Angel", fresh off the developers computers and into stores with hi-tech accessories, caused Live Demo's stock to rapidly rise. The popular game was on the lips of many video game fanatics. However a tragic turn of events has caused Live Demo's stock to drop three points in the market since Friday's closing bell. Seems as though several scenes and interactions in the video game has caused several recorded instances of eppileptic seizures and two have been noted to have entered a coma. The Shadow will keep you informed.

Meet Mr. Holland
by T. Feere
Allister Holland has been rumored to be feared throughout the society of the Northern California Sabbat Sects. Allister also, during closing court, recieved the recognized status of courageous from the Prince.

Slap on The Wrist
by Silent One
Living in a Camarilla city one expects to have certain etiquette, protocols, and laws to be upheld. Although Sacramento is a Camarilla city it would never be the "poster child" when it comes to these trivial ideas. Camarilla justice is Zero tolerance, yet Prince Recoil is extremely hesitant to enforce any kind of discipline. Unless spending a week in "Der Kasten" is considered strict punishment. The word in the city is: The Prince is a softie when it comes to punishment for crimes against the Camarilla. Staking people in public, showing disrespect in court, and fights breaking out in front of the Elysium are all valid reason for discipline, yet all that has happened is a short vacation for some in "Der Kasten".

Tremere Goods
by Ox Shaneer
It seemed as if Clan Tremere had forgotten about the fugitive coterie caught attempting to overthrow the Prince. It seemed as if the clan had written off many of the books stolen from its chantries. It would seem that the silence was only a feint to pinpoint the location of their goods and lure anyone that would seize them. The Tremere have their secrets at stake, and the fugitives, their lives. The former may promise anything. The latter may do anything. To complicate matters, the Sabbat has shown an interest, while independent bidders attempt to outflank each other. Last time, failure to secure the material and heralded the final death of Morpheus. This time, it is unknown who will be held accountable.

Theatre De Vampyre
by Tom Stoppard
Publicly a response to Osborne's twin plays House and Garden, in which actors walk out of one play and onto the other, antitribu Toreador have gained a foothold in downtown Sacramento, and have started likeminded simultaneous productions of Hamlet and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. In Kindred circles, it is thought that the production is intended to reveal Camarilla Toreador as hackneyed and derivative. Advanced reviews describe imaginatively realistic death sequences. On an unrelated note, the production manager promises many chances for audience participation.
