Good Riddance
Darwin Lives
Congratulations go out to Egad of clan Brujah for bringing in the red-listed
and blood hunted Winston Kobeyashi on Saurday night. After being brought into
the elysium, Kobeyashi, former Prince of Sacramento, woke up and tried to escape.
Egad and Xavier De Costa of clan Lasombra tried to stop him. Winston told
someone to take them and then they disappeared into thin air. Recoil,
Jonathon Smith and Lark then attempted and they also disappeared but Xavier
and Egad reappeared. Eventually winston became a pile of ash but in the
middle of that ash was a starfish like mass that was wiggling. Falstaff
stabbed at it but Father Natasha killed it by stepping on it with puissance.
Sorry Falstaff, stabbing a demonic or infernal creature with a sword is very
ineffective. Better luck next time. Anyway now that the redlist has been
reduced by one, hopefully Egad will get the recognition from the allisters
and the Camarilla that he deserves. The Ventrue reward and the boon go to
him.
Sabbat Scare Over

It seemed that the Sabbat would never leave Sacramento alone. But now after weeks of fighting and influence the Sabbat have took a break from what looked like to be an endless battle. Who is say that they are gone for good or that they have took a little vacation. Either way it has givin Sacramento the break wit needed. This is the perfect time for the clans to strengthen and pull together to defeat our enemy.
Squish

That was the sound the small squiggly land-squid-like creature, (that was an extremely powerful, manifested bane spirit), made after being simultaneously slashed by an opera tenor's graceful blade and stepped on by a Sheriff's very large boot. It left Sir Winston Kobeyashi's body after Sir Winston, apparently controlled by the bane spirit, was mobbed and given final death by half the city...in the sanctuary known as the Elysium. Prior, in a few moment's of horrible lucidity, Sir Winston was heard to scream, "Why are you attacking me, what have I done?" The once great Ventrue Elder was unintentionally corrupted by a bane spirit in a ritual designed to protect his fellow kindred. He then went on a well-known murder spree. Prior to all the chaos in the Elysium, Egad, Bruhah Elder, defeated Sir Winston in a titanic struggle between two frighteningly powerful kindred, and in triumphant victory torpored the Ventrue Elder. It is not known how the bane spirit brought Sir Winston out of torpor after he was carried into Court by Egad. Because Sir Winston was red-listed and had been the cause of so much evil since the time of his corruption (not to mention threatening the Masquerade at every opportunity), all Camarilla kindred owe thanks to the very mighty and equally brave Egad.

Closing court was a festive place last Saturday night. When Prince Recoil made a very subtle
announcement that our Seneschal Jonothan was staked and placed in the back room you could see
the sparkles in peoples eyes. A staked Elder is a vulnerable Elder. Hopefully precautions have
been made to preserve his safety. It would be a blow of great magnitude if Jonothan were to be
misplaced or even worse, "burp".
Calling all Keepers

Recoil made, again, another announcement at closing court concerning the recruitment of a new keeper. He is looking for someone who will be devoted to the safety of the Elysium as well as his fellow Kindred. Give de la Torre a buzz if your interested.

Changing Tides

Three weeks ago in closing court the city watched as Prince Recoil hesitated and went into silence before passing out in his chair during the presentation of the new Nosferatu that were within the city. He was able to leave of his own feet within a few moments but that brings to wonder the stability of the Prince. Last week he went to oversee the Fallen Angel Tournament but was called quickly back to the city as his sister Dora was attacked by Kobeyashi. During this weeks meeting, the Prince with others vanished into the Umbra only to return unhappy. What happen three weeks ago that now has our prince leading such bad luck around like a dog. To save his sister he was not there to make sure the gate didn't open, then the following week he was whisked away. He has came through so far with no major damage but what of the next gather...will his luck hold out and will the city hold out with his string of luck?
Shaping Up

As a kindred from a different city i heard many things before coming
to Sacramento. Much of it was about how much of a war zone it is and how
diablerie is a rampant accepted practice. Now i am not saying that any of
this is true, but since i arrived i have witnessed how the city shapes up
to peak when it is needed. The night i arrived a kindred was put down for
passing of one of his clan members to someone for diablerie and then the
death of a red lister. How can many cities hope to have such bravado and
ability to say that when things hit the fan they break not splatter. This
city can. we should be proud of the city we call home. We are slowly
pushing the sabbat back and have done great things even while we are being
tested by the wraith problem. The Camarilla should learn that the members
of this city are as valued as those of any other city and that we will fend
for ourselves during their quarintine. This "virus" needs to be stopped.
Normal business in the city must return to normal least those of less
morals will resume their attempts to bring down our city. We make our
havens here, and we are offically to stay here, so we might as well clean
up our own mess. The ritual in fallen angel and those who made it must be
found to do anything less is to risk a repeat of this situation.
Another Live Demo Spin

With the wraiths flying around our fair city, it
is no suprise that Feather and her pet Tremere did
little to stop Live Demo before it started. A clan
that tried to subvert the power of San Francisco by
any means necessary would stop at nothing to gain
complete control of Sacramento. They have the magical
meanns to control spirits. The Giovanni have only a
limited number of paths to control Wraiths. An
investigation into Feathers business dealings should
be closely examined along with the rest of her pets.
