Brujah Uprising
by Ann Nark
On saturday night. during the Princes inquiries of the Malkavian clans
business, Misery jumped out of her chair and yelled "...when did this
happen?". After a brief and ones-sided shouting match between Prince Recoil
and the now ex-Primogen Misery for her outburst during court, it came to the
cities attention that Dora Sinclair and the rest of the Brujah were done
with Misery's controlling nature, and collectively ousted her from the
position. The city watched in awe as the one time ostracized Dora had the
support of the entire clan as she was named the new Primogen of the Brujah.
When asked about her new position, Dora replied "...we're done being held
down, we don't need a mother...I am not the leader, I will just be serving
as a voice to the council in the best interest of the Brujah clan." Well
either way you look at it, a new era begins for the Brujah. Maybe the once
strong will be again.
The End of Fight Leagues?
by T. Durden
It was an uncomfortable exchange of words on Saturday night between Ventrue Elder, Soze and Prince Recoil. In Recoil's obivious disappointment over the unfortunate cancelling of Fight Club, he made comments to Soze during opening court in relation to his decision, making Soze a public spectacle. However the silver-tounged Soze was able to calmly offer up his retorts in a mild fashion and letting the Brujah Princes sharp wit not bother him. However, Prince Recoil was also noted during closing court that he will be setting up pick-up fights that you may attend for a fee, and the fee will be the fighters purse. 75% of the fee will go to the winner and 25% of that fee will go to the loser, the more popular the fighters are, the more of a draw they will have. Should be entertaining, hope to see you all at what the Prince has deemed "Immortal Combat II."
What Means to be Brujah
by Crazie jane
We are warriors, scholars, philosophers, survivors, rebels, and anarchs. Some
are Princes while others are prince slayers. Our golden years to some were
Carthage. It is nay. Our time is now. Clan Brujah has changed because the
world has changed. When mortals threw off the shackles of the old ways, so
did Clan Brujah. The secret to surviving the ages and not become an
anachronism is to accept change. The Camarilla is a relic. From its
stagnation, the Second Anarch Revolt erupted on the scene in 1945. The clan
seeks to overthrow tyranny. But tyranny takes many forms. None greater than
the way one thinks. If you are shackled with how things should be then you
will react in the prescribe fashion. To stop this dictatorship of thought,
one must think for yourself. Never follow blindly.
NBA fines Williams $25,000
by NBA.com
Sacramento Kings Guard, Jason Williams has drawn yet another fine from the NBA. League senior vice president of basketball operations Stu Jackson on Monday fined Williams $25,000 for "inappropriate conduct directed at fans" in Thursday's 107-105 overtime victory over San Antonio. Earlier this season, Williams directed an obscene gesture toward fans. Six days ago, he opted for profanity. The NBA got the message both times.

Shown here with James Sinclair, Dora is quickly adapting to the the fast paced world of darkness, and hastily following in the footsteps of James and Recoil.
The Camarilla/Giovanni Treaty
by Crazie Jane
To understand why there is a "treaty" between the sect and the necromancers
one must understand the situation of the High Dark Ages. First of all it is
not a treaty but a formal agreement. It is called "The Promise of 1528".
Basically the Giovanni promises to stay out ALL kindred affairs and every
thirteen years the Camarilla would send a council to Venice to check on
things. However, it has evolved into the Giovanni staying out of Camarilla
politics. But this agreement did not come without much bloodshed. The war
started when Don Augustus Giovanni diablerize his sire, Cappodocious. The
Founders of the Camarilla decided to go to eliminate the Giovanni. A summary
of why:
1. Diablerie is considered to be a form of cannibalism. Still is.
2. It was just after "The First Anarch War". In which two Antediluvians were
destroyed, Lasombra & Tzimisce. This was less than five centuries since Magus
Tremere diablerized Saulot. Three great vampires in such a short time was a
lot for ancient hoary vampires to take. Clan Tremere for sake of unity at
least joined the rest of the Camarilla in this war. Yes, it is a bit
hypocritical to have two clans whose founders sucked down their sires
{Troile` diablerize Brujah in Carthage} on a crusade to punish another clan
for such same act.
3. With the disaster at the "Convention of Thorns" in 1493 still fresh, the
Founders were looking to keep the Burning Times from re-igniting.
4. Cappadocians were well respected in many vampire circles. They had lots
of friends.
5. Don Augustus Giovanni to do the dead committed many acts of treachery.
Which involved the Founders. Having angered many elders is way to pick a
fight.
Why did Don Augustus Giovanni do what he did:
1. Cappodocious was up to something. What it involved was ripping away of
the shroud. There are many shards of evidence pointing to the fact that
Cappodocious wanted to diablerize The One God.
2. From existing diaries of the late Clan Cappadocians comes the tale that
Cappodocious had culled his clan before. It is possible that he was planning
to cull the clan again. Paranoia is a trait found in many elders. Defending
one's family from annihilation is most valid.
3. At the time Don Augustus Giovanni, was a hoary elder. Whatever reason Don
Augustus Giovanni had, he knew what would erupt when he did. Thus he was
willing to risks everything to eliminate Cappodocious.
The necromancers held their own. It came to a point both sides face
annihilation. So they solved their problems with diplomacy. Since 1528, Clan
Giovanni on the whole has been most honorable.
Toronto takes 3-0 lead
TORONTO (AP) - The Toronto Maple Leafs let the Ottawa Senators back in the
series by blowing a late two-goal lead, but Cory Cross goal in overtime put
Toronto on the verge of a sweep. Cross scored 2:16 into overtime as the
Maple Leafs beat the Senators 3-2 Monday night to take a 3-0 lead in the
first-round playoff series. Toronto can eliminate Ottawa with a win at home
on Wednesday night in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference series ."It was a
huge win for us," Cross said. "We had the game in control, but with a team
like that you can never sit back, and they showed us why by getting two
quick goals."
