What Happened, The Short Version
by Alexander Soze
On the night of my assassination three different groups plotted my demise, two of them working together. From what I have gathered the two different groups were: Mr.. Crane & The Radinov's, and a Sabbat bishop I extracted some information that saved the city from the raid on The 5th of August 2000. Mr. Crane and the Radinov's attack took me by surprise. I have never had any bad business with the Radinovs and I thought very highly of Mr. Crane. That leaves the Bishop from Stockton. My encounter with him was short and didn't really have time to exchange pleasantries so I didn't get his name. Both groups attacked me, first The Sabbat from Stockton who rendered me useless with the use of Caine's gift of Animalism and then The Radinov's who pinned me in my car and tried to burn me alive. Luck be on my side I slipped out of my car and grabbed onto one of the Vans undercarriage under the cover of a smoke grenade. After I was sufficiently away I let go and had one of my ghouls pick me up and take me to a Haven outside of Sacramento. Resting there until I regained my strength. I appreciate all the effort by the Kindred of Sacramento in their investigations. Thank you.

Dante's Inferno
by Crazie Jane
Someone once told me to go to Hell. So I did. I came back. But a clansman did not. It was a Hell where Dante perished. Why? For a small error. What started out as a mission for knowledge turned into a very dangerous playtime for Cainites. Dante had made an error. Nothing big but it still cost him existence. He like other could not resist the temptation to torment one each Lark. Lark's tormentors let him on the fun. However, demons being demons they got violent over a flamethrower that Dante had barrowed. His mistake was he wanted to keep it. The ensuing ruckus annoyed one of this Hell's demon generals. This supertanker of whup ass left his perch and grabbed a hold of Dante. This supertanker of whup ass is composed of pure flame. Dante went poof. Egad did his best to save Dante but even our mighty sheriff could not prevent this. If you have an opportunity to visit a Hell, take it. You can learn so much. However, be very careful of your every action. It can mean more than your unlife.

Harpy Flies, Leaving a Feather
by Gore Vitale
It came as no surprise when Chief Harpy Dot Warner stepped down from her position Saturday, but the hopes of Clan Toreador were dashed when Feather of Clan Tremere was elected to the Perch. Feather, a former Prince of the City and one of Warner's "dearest enemies," had no comment for this reporter after closing court, but she is expected to have plenty of commentary for the city and its wayward members in weeks to come.

Trust No One
by Ash Skinner
The city was a-buzz Saturday night when two FBI agents managed to make their way through the Elysium grounds for some time before being accosted by the Keeper, who asked them to leave the premises. Agents Lazarus and Montgomery continued to lurk around the periphery for some time, taking notes and engaging various members of the City in conversation. It is unknown at this time what breaches of the Masquerade occurred in their presence, but it is likely that the Sheriff will be investigating the matter in the near future.

Sabbat or Otherwise
by Darwin Lives
On Saturday night a kindred came to the city saying that the Sabbat had captured him and that he escaped from a warehouse on the West Sacramento riverfront. A group of the cities leaders including the Prince Recoil investigated and did indeed find a warehouse filled with people. My sources tell me that it was decorated as a home. A couple was talking about being able to take over Sacramento as these vampires were no different than any others. They want to know what makes the vamps tick. Auspex was also done on several of the people standing around the warehouse entrance, they tested to be mortal. There was also a crow that had a "sparkle aura". So these people could be the Sabbat, mages, or the hunters. They need to be observed and their activities noted until we can learn their true nature.

Sacramento Scandle Investigated
by Joseph Wellington - London Loyalist
News of Alexznder Soze's survival was greatly appriciated in London this week, as the Western Division of Clan Ventrue has came under close scrutiny. After Ventrue Security reviewed the incident, it is believed that Theadore Crane was most likely not working alone, and a division of Internal Security is expected to arrive in Sacramento within the next two weeks. Sacramento Ventrue Corp. may be looking at a loss of funding over this incident and further investigation into proceedure management. Arthur Wolfmann, Head of Ventrue Western Division Security, will be coming into London this week to explain why an attack on an elder was permitted. Rumors are that Wolfmann may be replaced, but no new canidates for the position are forthcoming.

Toreador Interactive Art Show
by Cuttoo D. Chase
What has been dubbed the "Toreador Interactive Art Show" is set to take place on the eve of June 9th. All city residents have been asked to contribute some form of art to the show. Shell of Clan Toreador is quite excited to see the turnout.

Archons
by Crazie Jane
The city was visited by an archon. It did not matter who he or she was. Nor the clan mattered. What should be feared is the fact this vampire is a deputy to a Justicar. Pray to whatever deity you believe in that you are not in a city that a Justicar is in. You can bet your bottom that if you anger a Justicar you will be put on the Red List. For the neonates, the Red List is the Camarilla wide blood hunt. Archons visit cities for various reasons however most reasons are they are aiding a Justicar's investigation. A Justicar can have ANY Cainite put to death, with the exception of the city's Prince. However, they have ways of dealing with Prince's who have brought the wrath of the Inner Circle upon them. No matter if you have angered an archon or not, like me, always treat them with respect. No matter how you view the Camarilla, always treat them with respect. No matter what your belief is, always treat them with respect. To disrespect an archon is to disrespect a Justicar. To disrespect a Justicar is to disrespect the Inner Circle. And that boys & girls is a REAL bad thing.

...And Along Came a Shadow
by Shadowstorm
Darkness descended into the heart of Sacramento Saturday night. Another tear in the fabric of time was opened again Saturday night. The power of the Wyld is running rampant. From the original Tremere breaching the dimensional walls years ago, to this most recent breach, the days ahead will be frought with strange shadowy beasts. One such appearance came during closing court. The unknown appeared to be a child. It flitted among the Trfemere and Gangrel as a minor annoyance. This type of situation will be investigated.

Departure
by Xavier DaCosta
City of Sacramento, as nost of you heard at gather, I am leaving to go to Europe. I will be training under the Brujah Justicar to take ny place as a Camarilla Archon. I will be the first Archon to bear the blood of the Lasombra. I'm sure some of you may be upset about the Inner Circle Council's decision, however their word is law. Following my training and my ascention to my new position, I will be appointed to the West Coast, so i will not be too far away. I would just like to say that I enjoyed serving as your Scourge, and I especially enjoyed serving under such a balanced Prince. If more Princes were like Recoil, less cities would fall to the Sabbat. Hopefully I can help stop that. Primogen, keep everything in line. Sacramento is on a winning streak, and I hope it stays that way for a long time. Thank you.

Carthage Revisited
by Crazie Jane
Was Carthage corrupt? Ask Hannibal. He says no. Can there be another Carthage? Ask me. I say no. Why? Things have changed. For the Brujah of Carthage it was a great time. For the mortals, it was not Heaven. But it was not a Hell like I said. For mortals it would have been better than most other ancient cities. Why was I wrong? Was my research bad? No. Was my research misinterpreted? Yes. I wondered how I after four centuries of research I could be wrong. How did I get lead off the wrong path and who lead me? Yet the answer was there in my notes. The Jyhad. I had become a pawn in some methuselahs game. Yet I know not. I doubt I ever will. I was given the opportunity to chat with Archon Hannibal on a place he had lived at a time where it ended. Notes taken from that meeting will be cross-reference. What a vicious game is being played. And we are all caught up in this endgame called Jyhad. No one is untouched. The powers that those of fourth and lower generations posses is absolutely God-like to us. I wonder is our actions our own? I had erred in my research. But I will not stop. I have discovered a major tangent in the Jyhad. It is most definitely aimed at Clan Brujah's destruction. Who ever is behind the fall of Carthage must of known all the ramifications of the Carthage-Rome power struggle. I look at the evidence I have collected and wonder what other tangent's of the Jyhad is obfuscated. My research will be diligent. I will hunt for the truth of who caused the fall. I know that many state that Clans Ventrue & Toreador were jealous. But were they made to be so? Rome was controlled by Lasombra, Malkavians, & Ventrue. Were they manipulated into a war that need not happen? Could Rome not have duplicated Carthage's success? And if not why? And if so why was Rome strangled into not reaching her full potential? I made a statement I believe was fact-based truth. I had a witness to that era. I apologize to Hannibal for offense I caused him. I have now a thousand more questions. I do this for my clan; I do this for I am Brujah. Clan Brujah can never recreate Carthage. We can however make the city safer for mortals. For no other reason that to add another protection to the masquerade. I will find the whole truth…it is out there.

A Night in the Wyld
by Barbara Moore
It appears that the Wyld has awoken. Those of you who have spent any time in the woods lately have probably noticed a difference. The woods are alive in a sense that has never been before. Clan Gangrel was summoned on saturday night out to our land in Havenwood. The Wyld is who summoned. It apologized for harming some of my clan a couple of weeks ago and told me that Moriah is well and protected. We were also told that as long as we live in harmony within the boundaries of Havenwood that all would be welcome. The local Garou have agreed to this as well. Havenwood is a sacred spot and going there if you are not of the Gangel blood or accompanied by one of us would be a bad idea. Apparently the wyld can tell the difference between the clans. I don't know how so don't ask me.
