If Someone Told You To Jump Off a Bridge...

Former Prince Soze was never interrogated, never interviewed, and never put on trial to have an opportunity to defend himself or his actions, however the Primogen came to the conclusion that Soze was a threat, and then shortly thereafter, exiled ex-Prince Soze and his companion, and also former Prince, Kobeyashi out of the city of Sacramento. This was the command of the Primogen to the New Prince, Feather, who, until weeks ago, was unable to speak...but no words were louder than the ones she made as her first decree...the Bloodhunt of Winston Kobeyashi and of Alexander Soze after their refusal to leave the Elysium during closing court. Ironically enough, the new Tremere Prince announced her new Keeper, a Gargoyle, and the Gargoyle wasted no time in lifting the laws of the Elysium, and created the mass anarchy that ensued. A firing squad of assorted clans formed a distance from the two new targets, and was about to open fire, when former Sheriff, Recoil, attempted to, oddly enough, settle the matter without violence, and allow the two to leave the city peacefully. This was met by opposition however, when the city then focused their attacks on the destruction of Recoil...even the new sheriff attempted to diablerize Recoil in the midst of his defending himself. He made no attacks on any Kindred, but did manage to do $20,000 dollars worth of damage to the floor of the Elysium in his effort to escape unlawful persecution. Recoil has not been seen since his fortunate escape.

The New Prince

As previously noted, the Primogen on Saturday night, announced by a 4 to 3 decision that the successor to Soze would be Feather, of Clan Tremere. Former Seneschal of Soze, Feather's reign has begun in controversy, however, she plans to iron out all the issues at hand one step at a time. First item on her agenda, is demanding to question Recoil, if he returns.

Kobeyashi on the Run

The search for the truth continues. After being driven from the city, the current whereabouts of former Ventrue Prince Sir Winston Kobeyashi is unknown. His determination to remove the foul stain of a blood hunt from his good name is obviously on his mind. How he will accomplish this is open to speculation. Some observers suspect that his rage will overpower his otherwise calm nature and advise others to act accordingly. Others closer to the former Prince have smugly suggested, “While battling his enemies is his calling, he has no desire to fight in the gutter with vermin. As he sees no honor in dealing with mere lackeys, he will surely take his fight to those of equal stature”. Whatever the truth may be, his current actions remain inscrutable, so all are advised to avoid him and report his presence to city officials. While the new prince rejoices in apparent triumph, assured of her supremacy, she must ask herself, in the deepest recesses of her soul, if she has been outplayed after all? Outplayed by a canny elder whose vision foresaw his own demise? Only time will tell, but fortune passes everywhere. 		From London...with love.

Recent surprise guests arrived at Ventrue Global, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander of Clan LaSombra, to discuss a misunderstanding over political position within Sacramento, California. This trip was funded by the Ventrue of Sacramento as a peace offering to these two for the hardships caused them. Amongst a neonate uprising, matters were cleared and both parties would like to announce that there is no animousity being held. Ventrue elders are dismayed over the appearant disruption of Camarilla functions because of the chaos that erupted from the invitation that was extended to the LaSombra. Many are beginning to believe that there is a serious incursion of Sabbat in the region, which would explain the recent uprisings. Camarilla Archons have been notified about the present situation with an investigation is on the horizon. Ventrue Enforcer Legions (VEL) have been notified to remain on call for full scale operations if need be.

What is Galt?

Galt? Is that like the gout gone bad? Or is it the abbreviated term given to Garlic Salt? Nope, oddly enough it is a city to the south of Sacramento, where the Malkavian known as Tyler Duran, is petitioning the Camarilla to enstate him as Prince of this cowpoke town.

Missing Girls

The police are currently offering a $10,000 dollar reward for information leading to the whereabouts of 12 missing young ladies from the Francis Home, a home for girls. I'm sure that Father Chapin, of Clan Malkavian, will soon lead up a search party.

Flowers for Algeron?

Police have the young man that survived a beating last week under protective custody. The young man has been known since the beating to muster up enough breath, to talk of "...it was unreal...*cough*...he moved like the Flash..." when questions of his assailant's description came up...doctors have decreased the amount of sedatives that are prescribed to the young man.
