Empty City Streets
by McGruff
If a tumbleweed had rolled across the street...it would have been more appropriate for the scene at court last week. The Streets of Sacramento were bare...even the Prince did not even attend the closing ceremonies of the weekly gathering. A raid attempted by the city on Erik Legends failed. Along with a journey by others into Pangea, caused low numbers at closing court. With the princes absence the Seneschal Egad was required to run the closing arangments. Even with the lack of events three kindred were staked for breechs of the first tradtion. That could be to the lack of uneducated kindred or the high number of Sabbat in the city. One of the three kindred to be staked was Erin Chase of clan Brujah. This could be for the neonate rumor of the Camarilla Tradtions and Status being part of the Sabbat influence on the Elders of the Sacramento area.
See George Run.
by Mr. Knowitall
Unlike the Little Engine that Could, George the Nos who was the Keeper of the Elysium couldn't. After an altercation with Monty the Malkavian George stepped down as Keeper. Upon hearing the news the Seneschal Egad appointed Shell of Clan Toreador the position, Temporarily. And as her first action as Keeper she in turn appointed Michael of clan Ventrue assistant Keeper. The city is in dire need of some stability and hopefully these two individuals can do the job. Good Luck!
Status
Tyler Duran
Why does a malkavian care about status? Easy, I want
more than mere survival. Status is the mortar that
holds Castle Camarilla together. The Camarilla is a
social society. There are rules. Without
rules/laws/traditions there would be total chaos. That
is bad. Status is a marker for ones deeds. It becomes
your reputation. It tells the Cainites of your city
and the sect you are valuable. Thus, one can rise in
power. With power you can accomplish goals. Noble or
vile, if you want something to be accomplish you need
to appear worthy. Status does that. Always remember
this what you do tonight can & will be remembered
centuries from now.

This security camera shot of Tyler Duran staking a rowdy Kindred who broke the laws of the Elysium, was taken during the many odd and chaotic events of the evening.
Who's In Charge Again?
by Krom
I was sitting on the throne at a couple points and i was wondering who was
actually in charge. Most of the neonates and ancilla running around like
they think they know what's going on, while most of the elders seemed to be
competing with each other. This Monte person walked in, confusing everyone,
especialy when I offered him the throne. This city needs to get itself
togeather. Helpful hints: if you beat down someone in your own clan, the
prince really has little say to internal clan matters; if you get your clans
togeather for five minutes twice during elysium, you have a better chance of
knowing what your clan is doing; also if you keep you clan from interacting,
at least in the most part, with other clans, there's less chance of interclan
misunderstanding, like the brujah accidently beating someone down....
So a word to the wise primogen of this fair city, take the riegns of control
that you have been offered and be smart about it.
Ventrue News
by Ventrue Elder
After a couple of rough weeks in Sacramento, Ventrue Clan looks like it is back to smooth sailing. Shawnna Soze, clan Primogen looks to have stabilized the clan. With the addition of Lady Alexis, Michael, Mr. Jadden, and Calapie clan Ventrue is back on track. After her first week she kicked out the hooligans from clan, and this week she properly instructed the new members on city etiquette and procedure. It looks like a bright future for this newly appointed Primogen.
