Enter the Sabbat

Evening Edition VOLUME V August 5th, 2000

Elysium Raid
by Roe Chamotel
A small band of Sabbat raided Elysium, causing minor damage and great consternation to those assaulted. The neonates seemed to lack decided leadership, taking on Elders Johnathan and George Gordon within the pressence of the Prince. Over-reaching their grasp, the three were unharmed while the Sabbat were defeated, though not destroyed. It is reported that later that night a Camarilla citizen was captured and is currently being interogated. Apparently already revealed is the city's Infernal bent, which will presumably be used as a rallying cry for future attacks.

A Cry for Help
by WestSide Rider
Early Saturday evening many individual is the Sacramento area received phone calls from American Pharmaceuticals owner Mr. Vines. His business was under attack. When members of the City arrived on the scene they noticed a car had been smashed into the wall and the front of it covered in blood. Once inside Mr. Yamkay started to attack what seemed to be thin air. To everyone's surprise two individuals appeared and called ahead to warn of the intruders. One of the individuals was cut to pieces while the other one was used to guide the group through the building, after his witness to the slaughter of his once living partner. The guide then proceeded to lead the party up a flight of stairs to a room with eight individuals sitting in a circle. Suddenly the lights when out and everyone was under attack. Lightning strikes, a quick brawl and the escape of the individuals that lived, out a window. Yamkay, Mr. Holland, Fallen Seoul, and Michael continued the chase. Once the Sabbat members reached the sewers a small group of Sacramento's rescue group followed. Nobody is sure what happened down in the sewers, so we will keep the readers informed when more information is found out about what happened.

Mouse Trapped
by Cheesy McBrie
The Malkavian known as "Mouse" is the featured suspect this week on KCRA Channel 3's criminal profile. Accompanied by a number of unidentified individuals, Mouse repeatedly visited a Stockton Church with camcorder in hand, agitating churchgoers and clergy alike. A defiant Mouse startled the local police called to investigate, until finally brought down by Dunham-Award Officer Silvera, who described the scene as, "genuinely creepy." Channel 3's special crime correspondant describes an obviously drugged Mouse displayed superhuman resiliance. making a dramatic nude escape from the County morgue. The segment closes with the warning that Mouse was last seen wearing a toe-tag and is should be considered extremely dangerous -- anyone spotting him should take no direct action, but instead report to local authorities immediately Say it ain't Soze
by Anonymous
Soze was granted a "One Night Pass" into Sacramento last eve, Mr. Soze had information about a Sabbat attack, and relayed this to Feather, Feather after again getting the ok from the Primogen, said ok...Soze led up the raid against the attack, one member of the attack force saw Soze dive off a cliff after a Sabbat Terrorist who was fleeing, Soze quickly brought the unlife of this Terror to an end, and briefly thereafter, made his way back out of the city. Feather has not responded to questions posed her about the status of his exile by several members of the city.
Are the Sabbat in Sacramento? You'd better believe it, here is one that was close enough to get to Feather, but fortunately for her, the right people were around to take him down. Photography by Sarah Rose.
Food For Thought
by A. Smartass
During Closing Court last night...Mr. Tyler Duran decided to tell the city exactly what it didn't want to hear. The current Harpy put it simply: Sacramento is the Laughing stock of the Camarilla. He pointed out that dropping the Elysium rules has never been done before in any Camarilla city. And if anyone from Sacramento were to attend another Camarilla court that they would be taken with no respect due to our lack of manners and understanding of Hospitality. This went over with mixed reviews. The Elders for the most part are supporting Mr. Duran and his sharp tongue; the Neonates on the other hand don't seem to be handling the critism very well. Maybe Prince Feather will call the Primogen together to discuss Mr. Duran's fate, seeing that she can't make any decisions without consulting them first.

Our Nightmares Continue
by F. Krueger
Originally dismissed as the concerns of distraught parents, the wave of nightmares that has swept the Sacramento Valley continue unabated. Sufferers feel an acute displacement and temporal distortion, with many mention the feeling of watching aeons. With dramaticlly increased rates of domestic violence and urban chaos, city officials are taking the matter more seriously. Chemists have found no outstanding quantities of toxins in food or water supplies, and common household goods test clean as ever. Meanwhile, psychologists weakly point to a children's cartoon and suggest that it has perhaps entered the collective unconscious. All patients subjected to automatic drawing excercizes created eerily similar figures (see attachments), illustrating a jaundiced toadlike figure. When asked where she was, one sufferer went on to draw six concentric circles, labling the picture: Cykranosh. Still baffled, scientists search for answers. The afflicted seem certain however, that an answer will be all too forthcoming all too soon.

Large Explosion at Duratrench Factory
by B. Baddaboom
Current CEO of ElephantCorp, Sarah Rose, got a phone call of suspicious activity at her warehouse. She assembled a small tak force to go check out the activity, when arriving shots were fired from the roof, a sniper a set himelf in position...the task force was quick to investigate the activity and take down several of the Sabbat Burglars including the sniper. Recoil, accompaning Sarah, went up to check the thought dead sniper, he went over the lip of the roof, and shortly thereafter a large explosion demolished the factory, sending debris and and what thought to be a shooting star flying thru the air. Turns out the shooting star was our very own Brujah Primogen in flames...landing and sliding 300 yards across the asphalt and then coming to a stop...smoldering...Recoil was severly burned, but ironically enough, a Duratrench saved his life. When asked how he was doing, he responded "HOW DOES IT LOOK LIKE I FEEL ****HEAD!"
