CSUS, Lies, & Videotape

Evening Edition VOLUME IX September 9th, 2000

Killer Apprehended.
by
Seymour Breaches
The city officials conviened in the conference room behind the Elysium. The purpose? To finally rid this city of the Serial Killer stalking CSUS. But to the shock of many individuals in attendance...it was learned that the one responsible of the murders was Winston Kobeyashi. Winston was caught on video tape performing the heinous acts at a CSUS dorm, where two police officers where slain. Prince Recoil and the Primogen also found out that Kobeyashi was indeed possessed and had no memory of these murders, they are also rumored to had been removed by an unknown source using the mind manipulation of Caine. For now Kobeyashi is in, what is now deemed the "Der Kasten" or the box, until further investigation of outside involvement is completed.

Picnic or Orgy?
by
Dr. Feelgood
With the dissolution of the Ventrue, Toreadore displays of Falstaffian bravery, Brujah hostage attempts, a singing Nosferatu, Tremere power-mongering, and general Malkavian silliness, the Sacramento Camarilla seems ill-prepared to reckon with the various threats crashing down upon it. In a rare show of cooperation and consensus, regular inter-clan meetings began this week, including a relatively productive Primogen assembly, as well as a general congress after closing court. With unprecedented mutual affection, the Kindred concluded that the future would be no picnic.

Shifting Tides
by B. Kahuna
Traditionally, the Jyhad for the Sacramento Valley has been between Camarilla neonates versus Sabbat "shovel-heads." With the recent influx of Camarilla Eldership, preoccupied with disciplining wayward childer, Sabbat forces have had the time and luxury to train shock troops and import competent leadership. With the Kindred Hotel destroyed, Elephant Guns reduced to rubble, and the Elysium probed for weaknesses, Giovanni, Ravnos, and Setite odds-makers find themselves working overtime. The smart money, it would seem, has left Sacramento, going on holiday to the safer, neutral territory of Las Vegas.

Tyler Duran Steps Down
by ShadowMaster
Tyler Duran has now passed on the torch of Grand Harpy, and gives Sarah Rose of Clan Toreador, full control of Harpydom. Tyler has decided to pursue other tasks.

Kobeyashi, was caught on film performing brutal acts against residents of a Dorm and 2 police officers, was tried and convicted by a panel of city officials. But was there outside influence over him?
Help for the Unholy
by A. Crowley
With an excess of Infernal silliness, city officials are at a loss to explain the allure, and impotent to stop it. Occult sources tell the Shadow that thirteen minor demons terrorizing the Children of Seth hold dominion over the city. These same sources indicate that stigmata-marked Baptist, Reverend Felix Culpa, educated from the early Church Cannon of Emperor Justinian, has come to investigate the phenomenon. Another version of the same story claims the involvement of Stockton lawyer Mia Culpa, esq.

Lark Missing
by Merlin Majik
Lark has gone missing. As Regent of Clan Tremere, the Warlock's attendance of court has been sporadic, but his recent disappearance is unscheduled and suspect. Though few tears would otherwise be shed for the death of a ranking Tremere, his leadership in the investigation of the Fae nuisance as well as the probe of the Kobeyashi Situation leaves Sacramento Kindred wondering if they were better off with the Devil they knew.

Injustice
by Keepda Peace
It seems that with all the violence happening in the streets of Sacramento that it has become a new rage to participate in such acts. Last night in the Elysium Dora Sinclair was attacked by the Grand Harpy Tyler Duran for no apparent reason. Miss Sinclair was attempting to leave the Elysium after accompaning Brujah Primogen to Prince Sinclair when Tyler stepped in front of her she tried to get away using celerity. He proceeded to stake her. Being of very bad aim or very bad eyesight he missed leaving a few people upset and confused. All Miss Sinclair received later was a pathetic apology from Tyler and a big hole in her back. No action was taken against the Grand Harpy for this attack on Miss Sinclair. There should no tolerance for such behavior. Especially from a person of such high accord.
